The holidays are almost here!

It is time for a nervous system check. Are you already stressed out? Are you feeling overwhelmed? Here are a few tips and products that I recommend.

Get your body moving. We do not realize how much of our day is spent sitting. This causes all kinds of problems from our necks to our legs. Try a standing desk, a brisk walk, or mini exercise breaks of lunges and squats to get your body flowing again.

Be mindful your thoughts and of what and who you are listening to. Some song lyrics and some people can be very negative. We do not realize the impact that they have on our energy. Positive high frequency sound therapy can be life changing. It was for me! You can find multiple frequencies online. If you are new to it, start lower 300-400s then work your way up.

Reduce your sugar intake. A high sugar diet weakens your immune system and can make you moody. Try stevia, monk fruit or coconut sugar as substitutes. I personally prefer coconut sugar in baked goods and flavored stevia in my morning coffee.

Reduce alcohol intake. All drinking alcohol is ethanol. It is like poison to your body. If you need to indulge, try dealcoholized cocktails. When you finally get your nervous system regulated, you will realize that you do not need this stuff. You can be your true self without the liquid courage. The people who love the real you are the ones who are meant to stick around.

Make sure that you are getting quality sleep. Reduce late day caffeine(including chocolate). Try carob as a chocolate substitute. Put the electronics down for the night. They stimulate your nervous system. If you have trouble winding down to sleep, try Sleep Beautiful cream or Sleep Beautiful Plus.

Set a budget for holiday gift giving. Start your shopping early and take advantage of discounts. Early shopping also means that you can spread out the cost over a few months instead of one.

Be grateful. Try to catch yourself if you are complaining and replace that complaint with words of gratitude. We all get frustrated but we all have a whole lot to be thankful for.

I hope that these tips are helpful. Enjoy this special time of the year.

Be Happy,

Lisa
